This is only for the previously released superman. Erick doesn't have a DC license anymore to do more characters. He is however offering a discount on superman for those who previously bought one.

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

This is good news. I'm bummed I didn't pick it up when it was first offered.

The previous scale was 1/4 but it seems smaller compared to other statues. Does the bigger size means a correction of the 1/4 scale?

Yes, the first one was "17" inches the new one is "19.24" inches. It will be a true 1/4 scale. The previous one was more of a 1/5 scale than 1/4.

It’s not 1/5 scale, unless Superman is over 7 feet tall. It’s really halfway between 1/4 and 1/5 scale.

True. Unfortunately, it wasn't truly 1/4.

That is unfortunate but also glad it will be corrected this time because I own the 1/5 kit and now I want to get the true 1/4.

I have to ask was 1/5 the intent or it was an oversight in production?

I belive it was the printer. I think it might have shrunk a bit more than expected during the 3d printing process.

I'm interested but my issue is I have no idea how much it would cost to paint and I also know very little about contacting artist to do this kind of work. Is there anybody the community recommends? Any tips?

John Allred painted mine. You can find him on Facebook. It was $525 plus shipping. The new kit is about 2" taller, so not sure how that would affect cost.

Also keep in mind that he's probably booked up for the next year or so.
