Island Girl statue - Chris Sanders

Sanders art is of the same vein to me as Dean Yeagle's Mandy.

And by that I mean the art if totally adorable, flirty, cutsie, and curvy. I love it!! Never would I think of them as "lewd". Hell, Island girl has the same amount of boobs coverage as Starfire and only a little less than Emma Frost

I don't have the space or theme for these statues, or I would own them.

I wonder if Chris is down for commissions....I have space for wall art!

edit: If Sideshow does the Rescue Sirens in their mermaid looks, I would be in trouble. I majored in marine biology and I can't resist sharkie things. You never see mermaids with shark tails!

Demona, we are of the same mind. I have a newfound love of all things mermaid and aquatic fantasy. I am also a biology major and work in a environmental science field, so if they make the Rescue Sirens I would be right there too.

The top figurine ("Maile") was also produced as a painted soft-vinyl statue, available in four different colored dresses: red floral, blue floral, green floral, or black with skulls & crossbones. The bottom figurine ("Kiele") was only made in this 'faux-lava' form.

If you're responding to me, I never called her lewd. I said she was more lewd than The Pumpkin Witch. I don't know why people have to be so black and white about labels when most are spectrums.
