The fact that they aren't numbered and can be reissued at any time makes it even more difficult for me to get the old ones because I have no intentions of paying double for something that may come out again.

I'll just continue to wait and hope. Aquaman, Joker and Hawkman are the ones I'd really love to add.

Back then most of the pieces were made available here in Australia via Popcultcha. I guess it wasn’t for a year or two later that they went into that distribution deal with Sideshow.

It’s not like all pieces are made available to the US, and a lot of collectors import XM pieces etc. But I guess it’s a matter of exposure, but reissues always rub me the wrong way even though I don’t collect for investment purposes etc. Its just that they’re meant to be limited, not produced for everyone who wants a piece.

But then again I was one of those that received those additional edition pieces from Iron Studios for the 1/4 AOU pieces. But I didn’t know that at the time given that I preordered at the same time as everyone else.

Really just meant that US had to pay more at the time. They were all pretty easy to get while the waves were out. The early ones just dried up fast and rarely come up on the after market. I’m split on the idea of reissues. While I understand these aren’t numbered and a lot of us would like the ones we missed I do think it cheapens the hobby a bit if everything is readily available.

I do like the idea that some things are harder to get than others. I spent the first couple years of my statue collecting life hunting down older pieces for halfway decent prices. That was a lot of fun, checking ebay and going to random comic shops every weekend. Plus it felt like an accomplishment when you hunted down something you wanted for so long.

These look great.
I picked up a Suicide Squad Harley and am really pleased.
Amazed at the detail for a 1:10 statue.
Trying to find that BvS Batman.

In hand pics are starting to show up for GL and GA. I believe they were bought from Sideshow.

Going to receive my Green Arrow by the end of the week, so excited for this one. Love old school Green Arrow. My most anticipated statue.

Loved it but it wasn't old school enough. I wanted the tucked in shirt or tunic like on the DC Direct statue or Neal Adams first rendition from Brave and the Bold and Green Lantern Green Arrow 76
