Clean it with dishwasher soap (and a quickie spritz of household degreaser wouldn't hurt either), let it dry completely, then prime it. I always let my primed kits cure overnight before painting them.

Okay so I'll do that tonight, and I'll see what I can do with it tomorrow. Can only stand spending so much time with the family while everyone fights. My poor wife will have to put up with that crap while I hide in the basement.

I'm cleaned and primed 7 kits tonight ... tomorrow I'll be locked in my workshop all day.

Good luck with that Jess. I've cleaned it with our dish soap, got a primer I'm gonna go outside to do in a few minutes. One thing thats sweet is this bust from CB needs like no clean up at all, flawless.

(also I'm hoping that if it looks bad enough Boonie will do the rest)

Can't count how many kits I have had to strip and repaint for myself as well as clients.

The only thing that is not fun is finding all the flaws hidden by the paint.

Anyway Easy Off works well for stripping.
