Oh there is no denying the similarities but if I were Bradstreet I don't think I'd be bothered by it, I'd actually be flattered. If Manev was drawing the Punisher then yeah, I could see being bothered.
I guess I just don't see why people are so up in arms about it when this kind of thing goes on all the time in several mediums, including comics. When people are okay with it they call it an "homage" or "imitation" but when they're not they call it "copying" or "tracing." Either way the practice is prevelannt but I think a lot of times it just goes unnoticed.
Lifting an example posted by someone on EB that I think illustrates how elements of one artist's work are often copied/imitated in another's art. If Manev is going to be called out then why not call him out, and Moss too for that matter, for using this? To me taking using the exact same imagery on your artwork for the exact same material is much worse. Yet nobody seems to be bothered by that.
