Thanks for the examples guys!
I guess not too manychoose to put the comic colored page next to the original..?
Wondering if that has to do with the fact not to detract too much from the drawing...?

Hya!

Got a few on my sight at the moment...
I can´t get any "major" page due to budget restraints , but I would love to get something from Mcniven (maybe a page from the Cap America run you have...) or, (a "bit" more expensive) something from Coipel´s run on Mighty Thor.

What do you think..?

I must admit that I'm not a fan of doing that although I have done that with the original trading card artwork. It's also partly due to the additional cost factor.

Thanks for the pics guy.

One question though, do you pick an anti uv plastic/glass and an archival mat ?

I'm afraid that if i pick any mat, it will not be good to the art in a long time.

Any advices ?

Good point! Yes, I have selected non-reflective/UV glass and archival matting for the pieces I've framed.

i tend to like the idea of including the page, but it does matter what the original art piece is. cover a cover or nice Splash i think they compliment each other well, sometimes when it's just a standard panel page not so much, but hey it's your art so you do what you feel is best and you can never go wrong

I like to keep everything visible. If you don't, it takes away from the original art and makes it look just like the published piece, imo (which defeats the purpose for me)

Completely agree – I want to see it all on a framed page … I even like seeing the cut corners on the older art …

I prefer being able to see the issue/page information; makes it seem more "official", to me anyways.

It ain't a damned commission... show off that piece of art history!!
