SDCC DC Universe Classics Lobo question

Is this guy in scale? Love the figure. Nice detailing and paint apps. Good sculpt. The mutt and 3-d glasses are a nice touch. But this guy is huge. He's bigger than Classics Mongul and Darkseid. What gives? Is he really in scale? is he bigger than both in the comics?

well Lobo is listed at around 7'6 i think, so he should be a big figure, but the pics i've seen do make him seem a tad too big

He is oversized.

Here is a quote from another board about the size of Lobo from the 4H.

Quote:
The body for Lobo was originally made for the Despero Collect &
Connect figure.

Despero was alway supposed to be a large C&C figure, but even
we were surprized when we saw how big they'd made him. We
didn't mind it at the time, but we hadn't yet planned to use his
parts for another figure...

The only way we could ever have gotten a DC Universe Classics
Lobo figure into the hands of collectors who wanted him was not
only to make it affordable to produce by re-using existing molds,
but also to release it through an event such as Comic Con (I
doubt if you'll ever see a Lobo figure at Wal-Mart, Target or TRU
because of the "adult" nature of the character in the comics).

We figured that a big DCUC Lobo would be better than never
getting to release a DCUC Lobo at all, sooo.....
