I'd like to know WTF happened with this line, Sideshow made such a big deal about it when it was fisrt announced, lots of blogs and videos made, interviews with the concept artist and with the staff talking about how great it was going to be, but they just let the line die off while some of the best characters (Trapjaw, Beastman, Merman, Hordak) we're left unmade.

Was it due to poor sales or did Mattel become too difficult to work with ? I know they made SS change Skeletors color from Purple to Blue.

Wishing for the best as this line has interest and Tweeterhead would do it justice. I think the constant questions from fans show there is a market, just need alignment to come together in 2019.

These are questions that you may never get an answer to. Unless you are working directly with any of the parties involved I doubt that it'll be explained.

Let´s hope for the best. There is so much Motu stuff in stores these days ... Super7, Funko Pop, Action Vinyls, Mondo; you name it ... and the statue line beats them all; at least in my opinion. It would be a shame if it ended so soon.

If there was any line I think gets hurt these days, it's the PoP line because the new Netflix show looks nothing like the original PoP. So I may never get a Catra because of licensing.

MOTU I would think should be a go, but again, it could be licensing because maybe there is a redesigned cartoon in the works??

Soooo ... Chad said he had some MotU stuff to show if the line (or it´s continuation) would get greenlit. And it would knock our socks off.

I am so thrilled. I wonder what it might be. Personally I think it has to be some heavy hitters ... something most fans would want to see ... like Trap Jaw, Beast Man, Teela or the Sorceress. Or Hordak maybe. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
