Marvel Cutting Output to Battle ?Superhero Fatigue?
I don?t think the issue is superhero fatigue as much as crappy output. There?s a reason Spider-Man: No Way Home and Guardians 3 raked in more bucks than Dr. Strange 2, Ant-Man 3 and The Marvels. The former were good movies, the latter were not.

Superhero fatigue is a thing, but it's not a result of fatigue in and of itself, it's a result of garbage movies with average to bad acting, awful writing and filled to the brim with political hot takes.
I also wouldn't say Dr. Strange 2 was a flop either, because it brought in $955 million.

Dr Strange 2 was a good movie. One of the best for the MCU on that last set. I would say I enjoyed it more than GOTG 3.
And people don’t love something just because we told we should. I think it’s just some are quick to deem something as trash without seeing it. That’s not helpful or constructive. Prime example right now is XMen 97. The show is excellent, but tons of people refuse to watch bc of Morph and other things they have heard. Watch the show/movie and then give an honest critique. Or just don’t watch all together, but those not watching and bashing things is annoying.
I’m just waiting for the cool-off and the XMen coming into the fold. Hopefully with a really great showing. I honestly don’t care who is on the roster in the movies, I just don’t want it to suck like all the others.

Agreed, it's more mediocrity fatigue than anything. Regardless of genre, if you make a good film, the word-of-mouth is great, and the advertising campaign doesn't suck, it'll most likely be a success.

yeah i think everyone knows what the reality is, im curious if disney realizes this and are using the "super hero fatigue" scapegoat to save face or if they are genuinely ignorant to the absolute garbage theyve been putting out. same can be said for wb / dc - garbage

But you can't run an engine at full steam non stop.
Bessy needs to graze in the field for a while before she's gonna have more milk.

That's part of the issue as well...MCU films during the Infinity Saga were events! They happened 2-3 times per year and maintained a high level of quality that moviegoers (mostly casuals) could count on. But then Bob Chapek took over Disney after Iger resigned and mandated much more MCU content, largely to fill up the nascent Disney+, and that completely diluted the product. MCU productions were no longer special events...they became common, oversaturated, and the quality suffered.

It's not just the quality though. Admit it guys the 2008 to 2019 MCU was a lot of lightning in a bottle. You can't make event movies retelling/rebooting the same origins or stories over and over again. Everything needs sleep.
2-3 EVERY year is a whole lot!
