I love Mike Mignola, always have considered him a bit of an acquired taste which I've acquired...but, I've always felt, in his early DC work, he drew heroes kinda chunky...as if they all really liked pie.

Headin' out so no pics, but anything by John Romita Jr. these last few years just seems incredibly lazy.. his art, to me, is unprofessional.

Marvel & DC must hang on to some of these people out of some false sense of "obligation", especially in Romita Jr's case (ie, his father's legacy).

I used to love Bart Sears' work, especially when he was on Justice League in the '80s, but his style has just become ridiculous over the years. All his characters look like bloated 'roid-freaks, with a bit of a Marlon Brando face. I couldn't find any scans of his Captain America & Falcon pages from a few years back, but here's an example - maybe a pin-up or cover? Great technique on the shading and textures, but that anatomy is absurd.
