Yes sir. I am still very much a beginner and learning with each project. Unfortunately I didn't record anything, but I did show some progress pics in an album I made on facebook. It was a pretty simple conversion, just required a LOT of masking (I hate masking).
Hardest part (at first) was figuring out how to get the mixed media portion the correct color. I used a 2 part mixture of fabric medium and 1 part paint (thinned down a little), and brushed it on smoothly. Then heat set it with a blow dryer to cure.

ps: Since I had an extra skull head from the 2nd scorpion, gave it some green tint for that MK1 Reptile look. Not as dark in-hand, just the overhead light
