DC Comics co-publisher Dan Didio told USA Today, "We looked at what was going on in the marketplace and felt we really want to inject new life in our characters and line. This was a chance to start, not at the beginning, but at a point where our characters are younger and the stories are being told for today's audience."

Sounds like Dan must have found the fountain of youth...because I dont know about any of you, I get older every year..have yet to go back one.

"DCU will be an increased focus on digital publishing, as every single DCU superhero title will be delivered day-and-date. "

Thats music to my ears. I love reading them when they come out the same day as the LCS.

Nice! New books day and date on my iPad!

Now let's just hope the stories are good.

CRAP CRAP CRAP glad I stopped getting the comics years ago. But my point is Sorry DC your not going to get new readers doing this your going to piss off the readers you do have by changing the characters they grew up with even more than you have. The next generation does not give 2 craps about superhero comics you should have just been happy that the last 2 generations have kept buying the books you have been putting out....
