Magneto/Scarlet Witch/Quicksilver
Am I the only one bothered by the fact that Marvel has decided to scrap the family relationship between Magneto and Scarlet Witch/Quicksilver?
I hope it's just a short duration, but seeing as they are probably doing this for the movie tie-in, I'm not betting on it. Hell, I'm not even sure they will be mutants anymore.
This also gives me no faith in Marvel ever getting the X-Men back for the movies.

Most likely their new origin will have them be Inhumans instead of mutants.
I get tired of seeing Marvel's writers jump through hoops to try and make the comics more like the movies. The Nick Fury situation has been especially stupid. Maybe this will result in some interesting stories for Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, or maybe it'll just be some surface level change that makes the legal situation of the characters easier for Marvel.

Drives me nuts. Cap's costume, Nick Fury, the non-mutant-Inhumans thing is all due to the movies. Hate them all.

Since they can't make a decent Hulk movie based on his origins, I say they make him and Inhuman too.
Comics make me sad these days.

I just read this in the Axis event myself. That is indeed very sad. Does this mean Fox can't/won't say they are related even though they own/share movie rights to the characters?
And it negates that great recent sisters issue of All-New X-Factor too.

If Marvel decides Wanda and Pietro are no longer mutants, why did Pietro lose his powers on M-Day? That's a lot of Marvel history that will have to be rewritten.

this crap is so stupid, did Wanda wake up one day and say "No more parents!" or are we just supposed to forget who her dad is?

None of it makes any sense.
But good catch PD. I forgot Pietro lost his powers during MDay.
Speaking of MDay, I think that was the last big event that I cared about and enjoyed. And the art was beautiful.
