Just saying, he came along at a time there was a void. Similar to this show.
I find it imminently forgettable.
But the reception after episode 1 OMGTHEBESTTHINGEVAH!!!!!!
LOL
It's watchable. It's ok.
I get though why people are grabbing at it like Star Wars is back baby! Because they want to keep this type of tone and storytelling and hope it carries over.
But, IMO, they are projecting onto this show.

Interesting point. I’d certainly classify myself in the latter. Personally just not as big into the force/sith/Jedi stuff, although I like it all. But for my money, give me the seedy underbelly of the galaxy.
I will however say Fallen Order is absolutely amazing.
Just a fun week to be a Star Wars fan!

I agree! Watched both episodes of Mandalorian and I'm 10+ hours into Fallen Order. Reminds me of the excitement I had re-watching the OT and playing games like Rebel Assault, Dark Forces, and Rogue Squadron.
About time Star Wars fans get some new quality media.

i think the mandalorian is too new of a character, hes not established enough to really benefit from the concept of the mythos line imo

Following the previous concept of the Mythos line I agree but Disney supposedly paused all product past the movies which gave to the demise of the line.
Would make for better marketing if Sideshow would be proactive instead of reactive.

I wasn't expecting too much from this show - for me , the SW license is dead, thanks to the little mouse- but i'm still surprised that I like it. It's like looking at one of these old Sergio Leone westerns with the inimitable Clint.
Spoken I have.

but then i guess i would question using the "mythos" title at all if that was the case, they could call it a "star wars_____ statue line" and everyone would know it was 1/5 scale. calling something a mythos statue without adding to the mythos of the character would be pretty lame imo. i could see them doing a mythos kylo ren as someone previously suggested or maybe one of the other more established characters from the new trilogy but i think the mandalorian would be a miss and a waste of the moniker
that said - i am hoping for a mandalorian pf though
