Don't buy a Ale Garza commission.

Here is a story from CAF of someone who got screwed. Personally I don't really like his stuff.

Saw this last night. It's a bummer. I'm tempted to do that with an artist myself. I'll wait to see if my artist doesn't bring my art to Heroes.

That really sux.
People like that must kill potential business for the artists that actually care to make thier deadlines and get thier commissions out on time.

I saw that yesterday. It sucks that she had to resort to such measures to try to get action from the artist. Hopefully this will get resolved soon.

Well, she states her case quite well and has gotten 1600+ views. Hope it gets resolved and I'll never get one from him!

That is why I quit getting commissions. I had an artist to this day who forgot about my commission and took my money. Granted it was not too much money. And I had a commission from another artist who I paid in advance took forever so I got a refund. Then out of nowhere it was completed and they contacted for payment. Of course I refused.
I never liked Ale's work either.

I will never lay out money in advance for a commission again unless its through an art rep who will help put pressure on the artist.
