I think the commission my wife got me because the artist just copied another piece, not knowing that I actually owned that other piece. Wife didn't know either.

You should kick the Bad-Word-Bad-Word-Bad-Word-Bad-Word- out of whoever gave you the recommendation.

One of the worst looking Punishers I ever got was this. http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryP...054&GSub=41796
Dude tells me Punisher one of his fav characters and I get this hellboy-ish sketch.

This one because of my experience from dealing with Ray Dillon. I can't even look at the piece because he was such a douche. http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryP...030&GSub=41796

And my Buzz is almost a dissapointment. Paid for it, received a scan of it then waited two years to actually receive it. But the piece is pretty amazing looking in person so it kind of evens itself out. http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryP...890&GSub=41796

Pics aren't loading, so you get links.

I'm not going to name the artist, because I'm a huge fan and actually have a few great pieces from him. The piece is of a character I know he has done many times. The piece literally looks nothing like the character...nothing. I thought maybe it was the wrong character, but I don't even know who it could be. I was completely stumped by it. i have never shown the piece online and don't think I ever will...it is mindblowingly bad.

I'm not even sure what to say about that. It looks like a cross between the Comedian and Machete
