I was super excited to complete the line I had going with an incredible flash, not anymore. People will get upset either way but clearly the first is a masterful sculpt of a sprinter taking off. The second (imho) looks exactly like someone who is leaping/skipping. This compromise is a sad day for the art form and clearly disfigures the sculptors intent.
I'll still wait to see it in person before I contact sideshow but I'm definitely curious if someone would be willing to do a custom base for this piece to match the proto???

I still don’t think it looks bad, but that is a significant change.

I'm sure someone will attack me for sharing this opinion, but I think I prefer the production angle over the prototype.

The boots look like they have a slightly orange hue too? The lightning on the cowl has two types ? or have they changed it? Also its not specific if the collectors and exclusive both have these?

Both the Collectors and EX have both lightning options.

Mucho Gracias I went with the collectors because the exclusive Captain cold attachment didn't make much sense to me. Does anybody have it at home and have pics?

Would love to know if this change was made to ensure you'd never face leaning issues down the road on this polyresin piece, or if it was just a production f-up.
Definitely doesn't translate as well as the proto angle for me personally, but think I'll still get it because the sculpt is so good, paint looks great, and how long until another Flash????

The proto looks like he’s running the 100 yd dash and the production looks like he’s doing bleachers. Both look pretty good.

i agree, but from what im told im a sheep
before he looked like a runner just taking off, now he looks like a sprinter mid stride - maybe giving it a little extra "oomf" to access that speed force. looks great to me
