Agreed with those that find this annoying. If ebay allows the use of "not" follwed by whatever it just makes life difficult for those of us who buy items.

What if you're searching for a diamond ring, and evry cubic zirconia listing has "not diamonds".

Maybe you're searching for a rare Beatles 45, and every music listing has "not Beatles".

Or, you're looking for a replacement bumper for a 69 Camaro, and every listing for bumpers says, "not Chevy".

Truth in advertising.

Clearly, anyone posting "Not Bowen" on their auction description title is knowingly attempting to get as many people as possible to view their auctions... I know I've been annoyed at times when I do a search and all these non-requested auctions with the "Not Bowen" crap pops up. I think shutting down these auctions is an amazing idea. I mean, it's my time these sellers are wasting because I have to scroll through all the nonsense to get at what I want. These sellers get zero sympathy from me for getting caught.

If I'm looking for a "Not Bowen" piece, I'll look for it.

Agreed! It's a pain in the ass when your looking for an item and you have to search through all the item's that are "Not ....." whatever it is you ARE looking for. Ebay should police this more than they do

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

So did I. Whenever I didn't put it in there I got emails asking if it was a Bowen or not by new collector's.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

When searching just put -not in the search title and it will eliminate all auctions that have not in the title.

- in front of any word will eliminate those auctions that have that word in your search.

When I am searching for Gentle Giant busts I always add -bustups and -ups so I don't have to see the bust ups in my search.
