Sibad, One of 1000 Nights Final heading to Paints

I've just received pics of Spyda's finished sculpt of our Sinbad, One of 1000 Nights. It's off to casting and then to Dan Jorgensen for painting. The final touch will be the fabric coming from the back knot of his turban. The fabric really lends a swirling motion to the piece.

Something cool about this piece:
There are little secrets in Sinbad's jewelry. They are not only jewels he picked up from his Seven Voyages, but some of them symbolize the creatures on his adventures. Such as the bracelet on his left hand has dragon scales and a sculpted Cyclops skull. His necklace includes teeth of the cannibals and claws from the giant birds.

Our intent is to give this piece a technicolor look as from the movies of the fifties. Hope you all like the work. Next update will be the painted statue.

later-
Michael

Cool. How much are these gonna run? What's going on with the Frazetta pieces? Are they all in the same scale?

Yep. All are in 1/8th scale....including the Frazetta stuff.

As far as pricing, we know that once we get quotes from our overseas manufacturers but I'd venture to say in the $150.00 range.
