Nike/Upper Deck Lebron James vinyl statue, what do you guys think?
Hey, I just came about this statue and I thought it looks real good. I'm a big NBA fan and collectibles so I thought I'd pass the word around. The statue looks pretty detailed and the shoes have incredible details. I believe those shoes were released in the All-Star game this year when the NBA played in Houston. I think this a must for any Lebron James fan. Check it out guys here are some pictures.

Edition size ? Are there exclusives, or variants ? Where to buy it ? Will there be other players portrayed ? (have to ask, classic StatueForum questions )
Really like this "animated" look. I'd buy a more dynamic Jordan in a blink of an eye.

I think this looks pretty cool from the pics and will be interested to hear more about it. Can you also post a better pic of LeBron's face ... it is hard to tell how good the likeness is

Nike/Upper Deck Lebron James vinyl statue info detailes.
Here are more details regarding this item. I don't know if they are making other players, as of now only Lebron James was produced. By the way the vinyl statue stands 12inch tall.
Nike/Upper Deck
Lebron "All-Star" Athlete version LE750 - $45($46-$47 after shipping)(SOLD OUT)
Lebron Athlete, Kid Lebron, Business Lebron, Wise Lebron LE1000 - $179.99 set (SOLD OUT)
I also attached more detailed pictures of the face and the arms. The only down part which I see is they forgot to put in Lebrons tats on his arms. It's just nit picking though.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I like the "animated" style of it, but I'd rather see him in his licensed NBA uniform.

Yeah, the license uniform is definitely not bad but I think the reason why Nike decided to just use their own jersey is so that they won't have to pay NBA rights for the name. It's not a bad move being that they're going to sell out anyway. Besides, Lebron James is signed with Upper Deck and Nike so putting their label on him isn't a bad move.
Overall, I think the figure is well made, very high detailed and very affordable. Even at $100 I think it's a steal.

Agreed. These pieces need NBA uniforms and action poses wouldn't hurt either. This is too reminisent of those lame 90's "Shaq" figures.

There are parts that are interchangable. There are also parts which you can move but I'm not sure how to cause when I tried to do it the arms wouldn't move for some reason. I didn't want to break it either.

looks cool - I wish the likeness was a little closer and would agree that a licensed piece would be sweet but more expensive. A good customizer could do this justice
