Personally I don't think it has an "animated" look. However, for discussions sake, what's your gripe with an animated look?

No gripe really. I just like the realistic looks better for my collection and I enjoy having a more cohesive grouping. For me, it would probably look out of place with the rest of my pieces.

I hear what you're saying Iko Iko, I'm struggling with it for the same reason. That said, it's well done enough that I might pick it up regardless...especially if I can find it for a discount.

I was one of the people that wanted this to be 1/4 scale.

I saw the 1/4 scale version at SDCC2016 and it looked great. It had great detail. Now I'm debating if I still should get this. I really don't have any 1/8 pieces.

Hey AC, do you have smaller scale statues? The way I have mine set up is all the 1/4 stuff is together and then the smaller scales are all on other shelves. Just curious how you divide up your collection.

Well he is on his way...crossing fingers and hope that the final product matches the prototype

Not quite like the prototype but close enough

Even though it lacks certain characteristics to the prototype, its still looks great. I wish that the beard was just like the prototype but as you can see its not. Its barely visible
I still like it...

Also they could have made his fingers a bit more detailed.

He seems to be leaning forward to.
The paint job on him is great, especially his face... Love it!!

Very anime, but does him justice

See the paint job on his fingers, based on the 1st & 2nd pictures, its sloppy. I wish they would have corrected that. But anyways I still love the HECK out of this piece!!
