best predator head sculpt / mask on any 1/4. Too bad this is an idealized version. For predator/alien i have no interest in anything but movie accurate pieces. So sadly pass as I continue to wait for movie accurate versions - coolprops you are my hope!

I'm sure it will be great when it's fully done, but I just can't swing over $2k shipped for a idealized Pred when I know Prime will come with the goods next year

Unfortunately knowing prime1 it will be like the old hot toy days, there is guaranteed to be dozens of different versions to milk it.

at what will most likely be $2k a pop, no way there will be different versions of any Pred. I suspect Wolf, P2 and possibly Celtic will all have completed protos some time next year.

Ok Pred fans, I need your help!

1. I need someone who can photoshop to add some quills onto the XM Predator's crown and maybe shoulder as well. We can have more than one example, so multiple people are welcome to give it a try. Basically, I have spoken to Seng and the reason he didn't want quills is because the factory has never attempted a piece this complicated before and he didn't want to overwhelm them all at once. He has asked for a representation of what the quills would look like to show the factory.

2. Does anyone know what customizers like Raf use for their quills? I thought maybe if the factory can buy something pre-made that can be cut to size and then just glue them in, that might make it easier for the factory this time around.

There are still no guarantees at this point that we're getting quills, but these things may help.

Here are some shots I took of my Predator LSB bust a few years ago with an older camera. This show what the quills may add to the visual. I prefer it as well.

Raf uses plastic toothpicks. You need to drill and insert them individually. Plastic toothpick are good however they are all the same size. Some customizer go one more step and use quills with different thickness. The result is fantastic. There is alot of reference in freaks P2 thread.
