I don't think a spear would look good in that situation?

for 1/4 scale piece of this size .that is a good price.Makes me wonder sometimes how other stuff similar in size or smaller are more expensive.

I'm not a big fan of the hair.... I don't know what I would have rather seen here though... I thought Tarzan had black hair? But I guess next to a giant black gorilla that would be too much black... Maybe his hair is closer to the Tarzan in the new movie, but that guy is sort of blonde.
I actually took a few breaks in writing this to go back and look at the pics of this... The hair is actually growing on me. I think maybe if I was to say anything, they could have matched it more to the original Tarzan sculpt.
Skin looks great though. Face on the gorilla and Tarzan are awesome in sculpt and paint. Well done.
And that price... Wow. That's crazy cheap. I guess it's because it's cheaper to paint in the factory because of the limited colors than something like the mermaids.

+Very good price
+Tarzans body is perfectly sculpted

-Pristine Knife looks like he just bought it from the Home Depot, also although the ape has fight wounds, the knife is crystal clean
-Base non existent
-Hair imho should be black, this is Tarzan not Achilles

I agree on the knife and the base. Maybe a bigger base would have let them add some more jungle color to it... but then of course, the price would have gone up and the footprint would have been bigger.

I'm curious to see how this piece sells. Its a great statue at a great price... but are there really 100 Tarzan fans out there... :-P

This looks wicked! It's dynamic and well sculpted!

I do agree with Tarzan needing black hair, tho.

Outstanding piece!
Tarzan definitely needs black hair.
Would be nice to have some mossy stain on the base to add some green as well.

Agree about the hair and base. Base needs a lot more green and plant life. In fact, I've already contacted my painter about those changes once it ships.
