The art director must’ve been playing Marvel vs Capcom

You're hired. Parking spot, back the building.

I think Wolverine's arms look bigger cause of the perspective, Sabertooth is further back from him, if they did an actual side by side I wonder how it would look.

XM brown wolverine was nice but most XM pieces are oversized.

Looking at the picture from the side Wolverine looks better than seeing him head on.

But I get if people want keep yellow wolverine, maybe just add some snow affect lol.

He looks even worse next to Sabretooth (which is a great statue).

It's very underwhelming..especially since there are so many Wolverines.

I just don't get this one. The Sculpt is good. The belt is a little too big and the arms but those would have been totally overlooked if it was a different pose. You can't assume collectors are going to put this with a Companion piece. The pose should reflect this. This isn't a $600 action figure. This could very well be the only statue the person who buys this owns. There are good fundamentals here but I have to agree with the majority here. The pose hurts this for a wider appeal.

FANTASTIC point!

i really wish all companies would keep this in mind when designing statues, every piece should be a standalone - if it displays well with other statues and creates a "scene" then its an added bonus. similar to watching movies you should be able to enjoy a statue on its own without having to own something else to have it make sense

that said, im not sure any companion piece would help the situation here unless it was magneto or cyclops taking a cheap shot from behind (as its been pointed out) causing wolverine to be blasted forward in pain

Personally I like it. Similar to Sabretooth there is a lot of hate on the pose, its awkwardness but once inhand i think perceptions will change. The only thing I think it odd is why is there only snow on the left foot not right.

He looks like King Leonidas just kicked him. Also, lean would be a concern for me.

I would like to see it from a few more angles but not digging at the moment.
Thanks

It could be perspective on the arms but they are still extremely stylized. He doesn't even have wrists.
