I saw this over the weekend at Comic Con and honestly I think the passion for Christopher Reeve's Superman is overtaking expectations for this statue. Given limitations of painted polystone the portrait of this is pretty good, just as good as the '89 Keaton, Hemsworth Thor, and the Evans Cap that was on display. The only thing I wasn't was off for me on this statue were how thin his limbs were compared to his really wide chest. I know he wasn't as muscular as today's movie superheroes but it always bugged me about this statue and that opinion didn't change when I saw it in person. Very cool piece, although I'll just be sticking to my comic pf.

The stitching of his logo on both his chest and cape are horrible.. They should of just did a full sculpted body with a fabric cape... would of came out a lot better IMO... his fabric suit looks like an after thought..
If this cost like $200 then yeah I might buy it, but at over $400+ not worth it IMO...

He looks great to me from many angles. Despite having a non CR-like pose, I think he'll display beautifully in person. Thanks for the heads-up~

I gotta be honest. It looks pretty good overall IF you don't look at the chest emblem, the cape emblem and the black portion of the base. But then again, who sees a Superman statue and doesn't look at the emblem?
If they fix it, I will jump on the WL.

It appears to me that SS tried to replicate the S on the chest to be sewn in like that of the full scale screen used suit.
Model it to scale or replicate the actual suit worn?
Not sure what is better and we may never know the true answer.
Either way, I still have it on order and will judge it upon its arrival to me and not by any reviews and or photos shown on the net.

Just saw this PF is going to be PVC, so I have just cancelled my order. I am curious to see how many people will do the same now that they know in advance ?
