You don't need one stitch of color to enjoy the story, trust me. The art is great. The black & white adds to the gritty, more somber world they are learning to live in IMO. Also without the use of color, your eyes are drawn automatically to something. I found at times I had to really look deeper into the page to see all that is intended.

Even though Charlie Adlard is very good and has done the vast majority of the art, I prefer Tony Moore's work.
