The BvS Batman had the same issue where his head fit over his cape. The head didnt sit flush because of this. With no cape, fits perfectly. With the cape, not so much.

SS makes a brand new Psylocke head in record time but never fix Batman's chaps and over-textured pants? Seriously. it's a "select" and "delete" for the chaps and an "undo" for the textures. Done!

I think the unboxing looks better than pretty much everything they've put out so far for this piece. Maybe it's because they bizarrely only show him complete for about half a second...

I think they changed Psylocke's face because it's a female statue and they were concerned about complaints in regards to female appearances.
That's really the only thing I can think of considering as you said they changed that REALLY quick based on complaints yet pretty much everyone has **** on this statue since it was revealed and they changed absolutely nothing.
