Exactly..I wish they did it like the prototype..but I?m waiting to see if someone heats them up and fixes them. I think for the money they should look like the prototype

Funny all the pics and videos seem to be with the Semi-Open head. Its nice and all but Im already a little tired of it I prefer the open mouth head. I dont like how narrow the bottom jaw of the Semi-Open looks straight on and combined with the matted-straight down dreads it makes the head looks just too narrow. From an angle its great.

Im definitely going to try to fix those dreads. Im seeing what everyone is talking about, especially with the Semi-open mouth head.

If anyone has issues with some of the blades fitting in the gauntlets housing you can use a metal nail filer and slowly file away at excess paint/metal that may stop it from going in. 2 of my 6 blades didn?t fit and one was a little loose. My advice is don?t go back and forth switching them out. Make sure they all fit, then pick the ones you like and keep it like that for as long as possible to avoid ware on the inside of the gauntlet as there is no magnet inside it just slots in and hope it holds.

Hi Hutch0o
I also saw your post on FB, sorry to hear you have (had) some trouble with the blades.

Great post btw.
The 1/4 can have the exact same problem. There I also used a small file and dremel tool to make the fitting better. Some metal paint when ready and there you go.

Had hoped bcs the 1/3 is bigger they would cast in a tiny magnet (one side of slot) but now i know they reused the same tapered hole design.

Btw. Did you have the tiny bag with extra quills in it? Some ppl in AU didn't receive it acc FB.

as for the blades,
posted by Johnny Matsumoto on group prime 1

"I have 3 statue at my office i dont see any issue with it blade are made by Metal and heavy perhaps we should change it PVC next time for future products. My team actually strongly recommend for next products. Easy way was use sticking tape to make hold stronger.

Polystone very difficult casting shrinkage compare PVC which are far more consistent. No matter how we try Quality check. Perhaps best only give 1 Blade Option for future statue. I think is best."

I have already replied to leave the blades in metal and the various options. They just have to figure out a way to "hook" I think it's simple to insert small magnets where they are inserted.

I don't think the statue has the dreads that many layers thick so would be hard to do.

Did someone from Prime 1 post that pic and the quote about going PVC?
