Good tip. That?s how I had started taking my base out, and I changed my grip when it seemed less secure than it should.

Yeah I was unfortunate. With so many of dem spikes together in the way I figured that was the only method.
But I can easily let that stuff go. I would be more bummed if there was a chip or actual break on the statue. QC on mine was great. Since I got mine i just been giving geralt the googly eyes all day.

I'm very happy with it too, but are you satisfied with the paint on the base? The uniform finish on everything comes off as a bit cheap... kind of makes me think of old-school Sideshow statues, which is disappointing on a $1.5K piece.

Yeah tbh the base never bothered me. I think the vines could be painted better instead of looking all muddy brown but that's the only gripe I have issue with.
I feel you on the price though. For the money we are paying, we should be getting dang near prototype quality. I have been seeing more misses from P1 lately which is sad. That never used to be the case.

Here are my Witcher statues! These are phone pictures, I?ll post better ones eventually?
I am seriously debating on getting the new Ciri as that?s the only look I had for her in the game but the Ciri I have turned out meh so I may wait for reviews first.
