I got my very first Omnibus this week: Alias--which I plan on reading before watching the Blu-ray of the Jessica Jones TV series.
I prefer Marvel Masterworks books because they are easier to handle, but I see how these things can be addictive. I may get a few more of series not already reprinted in the Masterworks format.

My first Omnibus, too, back in the day. Great read. Hope you like it.

I think my first omnibus was Uncanny X-Men volume 1.

Only duplicates I'll have are omnibus and regular hardcover/paperbacks of the same story. I'm not going to get two copies of the same omnibus just for a different cover. I'll go with the Alex Ross one, since I plan on owning a copy of Daredevil #1 at some point to also have with my Daredevil collection.

Just ordered Inhumans (1998 run) HC but i'm not sure if it's an omnibus or deluxe... The HC contains 12 issues, i guess a deluxe ?
I ordered it because of Ms. Marvel (Kamala) Omnibus... i read the back of the omnibus and learned that Kamala is an Inhuman and wanted know what Inhumans were all about.

Not an Omnibus, but still an oversized hardcover.

Yes... for floppies. We're talking $75-125 books here.
