It's a little harsh to say it would have been great a decade ago as many companies still can't produce something that good (Sideshow for instance).

True - but sideshow are still charging well under $700 for 1/4 Premium Formats. I think what you get from Sideshow is appropriate for what you pay. I bought Shard last year for $427....that's the cost of a Hot Toys figure......near enough.

The facial details on the Spock are very impressive, the only flaw I could see was the paint around the hair line. But that comes with sculpted hair.
