EFX Marvel Projects
Not that it is shocking or anything… but there has
been absolutely ZERO updates on any of these
projects on "eternal pre-order" from eFX:
- Iron Man Mark VII Helmet
- Iron Man Mark VII Helmet (Special Edition)
- Starlord Helmet
- Captain America Stealth Shield
Could not find any info anywhere, even with the
development of Sideshow Collectibles doing
"shared" pre-orders with them.
Anyone heard any whispers of releases for any
of these? I did not pre-order simply based on
the track record of eFX as a whole, but now that
Sideshow took orders for two of these, you would
have to think they will deliver on them… right?

It's EFX. You'll be lucky if they ship in the next two years.

I ordered the first Cap Am shield directly from EFX and never had a problem, but disliked their $200 deposit upfront. When Starlord helmet became available with $200 deposit, I was very hesitant because of poor experience from other collectors with recent preorders. When it became available to purchase with Sideshow, I immediately preordered with $70 deposit. I feel confident this one will go through. If not, I know I will receive my deposit back per Sideshow policy. It's a no lose situation for me.

Yea it's always the best bet to NOT order directly from EFX. I've had a couple of their replicas and always gotten them from other retailers.
