Unhappy Stan Lee's wife passes.

At the age of 95, after a stroke and hospitalization she passed quietly. After 69+ years of marriage, god bless them.

She may have been 93, by some reports. Sad to hear. Such a longstanding marriage. I imagine Stan will be surrounded by loving family members.

Felt like a gut punch when I read that. Almost 70 years – what a testament. Sympathies for Stan right now.

69 years of marriage?! That is beautiful. As a newlywed I LOVE hearing about stories like that... very few marriages seem to last these days.

Unfortunately, if you have been around elderly who lose their long term spouse things tend to go south for the other. I'm quite obviously not wishing that, just an observation. My thoughts go out to Stan the man.

She lived a long life, and to actually stay with one partner for this long is a milestone when it comes to marriages. Wow...Rest in Peace Joan Lee.

Such a testament to the institution of marriage - I hope mine will follow suit. RIP Mrs. Lee!
