Yeah, killed Star Wars for a lot of fans. Unreal really it ended up being worse than the prequels. Still can’t believe it.

That said, I would still buy one if they nailed it like Iron Studios did with Vader.

I'm still contemplating dumping my Star Wars stuff. Couldn't even bring myself to see Solo after the abomination that was TLJ.

Sadness.

For me, TLJ just endeared me more to the original EU and OT characters that we never got =(

I badly want the Mara Jade Adam Hughes statue. I badly want a Darth Revan PF. I badly want a Starkiller - Vader's Apprentice PF. And I badly want all these things now more than ever because TLJ is being defended by people who are all telling me that young audiences and political activists want this terrible Disney era of storytelling in today's environment and that I'm the one who's wrong for wanting something else =(

TFA already did that for me. The Feminist version of ANH.. thanks, but no thanks.

TLJ just validated that, in abundance! Bringing back the heroes of the OT just to show them as disillusioned losers or comical stooges and then kill them off!

After the XM Boba, the efx Falcon was my last Star Wars Purchase, for the time being.

Unless someone capable is at the helm of Lucas Arts again - someone who understands the franchise and the fans,
someone who puts lore and good storytelling in front of gender agendas and quotas, the whole franchise (not just the OT) remains dead to me.

Sorry for getting off topic here, but since the day i watched the premiere of Star Wars in 1978, i always considered myself a die hard SW Fan!
These new movies are an abomination, disrespecting everything the OG trilogy stood for (along with the intelligence of its audience), sacrificing
the mythos and its mystical aspects for cheap laughs. It just makes me sad and angry...

To answer the question of the TO: Yes, imo the OT is dead (as is the whole franchise), because Kathleen Kennedy/Disney did everything in their power to kill it.. literally!

There's not much, I got into this game late. Only have a couple of mythos statues. Was going to expand but have decided not to.

Going to stick with Transformers for now. My love for Star Wars has waned thanks to TLJ.

I think I'm the odd one out. But honestly I didn't mind either TFA or TLJ.

When I watched them I didn't even realise there was supposedly a feminist agenda going on.

The only things I didn't like about TLJ was them making Poe out to be rash and incompetent (rather than rash and heroic) which I guess feeds into that feminist thing and I could've lived without that entire casino scene and everything that was adjacent to it. Most of the other issues people seem to have I'm not bothered by nearly as much.

I really enjoyed TFA. I was all in on the new characters.

My major problem with TLJ, a side from the terrible story is what they did to Luke.

Shame.

Shame.

Shame.

I guess I really had no expectations when it came to the original trio in the new trilogy. Harrison Ford only really came back so he could finally kill his character once and for all and I didn't really need Luke to be in the film all that much, because as much as I did like the character I appreciated the ensemble more. And after TFA the only character I cared about was Leia, but unfortunately future stories with her are no longer possible.
