Welcome to Bowenism (is that a word?)! Good choice for your 1st bust. She is one of the better jobs as far as female busts are concerned. Check out the Bowen section and look at the polls for best busts as voted by members of the SF to possibly help you with your next purchase.

agree 1000000000%...maybe in the movie she came off that way (slightly), but in the comix...NO WAY!!!

I wanted a Mystique MB and having had a look a each design i went with the bowen. Beautiful piece, one of the best female MB'S.

I finally picked this one up, its a nice piece, although not a centerpiece of a collection imo. plus i only paid 25 bucks for it shipped, so that makes it a little nice to me too.

Great review! Really well thought out and informative. I like your rating system. I'm not a huge fan of this bust, even though I like the actual sculpt. Your pictures amply demonstrate the shortcomings of the paint-job, especially where the neck meets the hair, and where the glove meets the gun handle. I don't recall Mystique using a pistol, either.
