Well I think its good for international collectors. Plus I have always thought Koto have some of the best sculptors in the business working for them. If GG released some of the SW poses that Koto came up with they would be far superior.

The name on the base is much classier than the DST maquettes or busts with the name plaque. Although I have my Bowen Iron Man FS this may be one I might pick up. But seeing how this is the first resin Marvel piece for Koto I think I will wait until I see how the prices settle down on ebay instead of pre-ordering.
As shown by the DC statues for Batman Begins and Superman returns, statues based on movies don't tend to do well. If I can pick this up later for around $50 I'll be a happy camper.

Isn't it like $200.00? A little pricey for PVC.

I agree so far. The sculpt itself looks fine, but I would have preferred Iron Man's arm outstretched like he is firing the missle at the tank in the movie.

isn't this sculpt based off one of the promo pics from the movie? i think the sculpt reflects that picture perfectly.

if this statue is has a limited number of 2000 i see it selling out preety fast,it has lights and it is polystone, the only way this would sell below retail later on if the piece looks like crap when in hand.
But knowing koto im expecting the edition size to be 6000
