Hot Toys busts 1/4? not unless they are midgets!!
Hi
got the Hot Toys busts of Rambo and Batman; but both seem smaller than 1/4 scale....
comparison with 1/4 Maul...(whose got a tiny head already )
both still very cool though.

I guess 1:4 or all scales for that matter are open for interpretation. It's not like it means 1 fourth of the real life size - wich would make the most sense imo.

That's exactly what it means.
Unfortunately, it's not what you always get.

Yeah theoreticaly but I dont think anyone in the collectable business, be it maker or collector, asumes that 1:6 is realy 1 sixth of life size, 1:4 etc... They are just scales in general.

They do assume. 1/6 scale is 12", with translates in 12" x 6 = 72". Or 1,80m. An average size human male.
1/4 scale is 18", which multiplied by 4 equals the same 72".

Wow, were did you get that calculation? I never knew 1/6 meant 12" or 1/4 meant 18". That would actualy make sense if all 1/4 statues were 18" and all 1/6 statues were 12"
I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just saying these scales dont add up logicaly and shouldnt be taken too strictly.
