This is really dumb at this point. DC can make all the Batman statues it wants, but a Batman statue shouldn't prevent other statues from being made. Last year we got two Designer Series Batmans in a row, and this year, the same is happening.

I agree. I want some new characters and some variety. They have done so many batman in designers line and I like none of them including the new one.

It's the 80th anniversary of Batman and Detective Comics is going to have its 1000th issue. Of course they're going to be even more Batman focused than usual, but it sure didn't feel like they gave Superman the same treatment for his anniversary.
