Justice League

Here is the James Robinson's Justice League cover drawn by Mauro Cascioli.

Looks pretty good.

They are making the same mistake Marvel did with the Avengers. Only A listers. Supergirl is the only worthy one.

looking forward to this. They are saying it will be so cool with Congorilla, we shall see. Also Freddy has his blue Captain Marvel Jr look going here not his red version that he "earned" in Trials of Shazam. Hoping they will disregard that series.

This is the "new" team that is soon to emerge...there will be 2 Justice League books....and it has something to do with Final Crisis and the Martian Manhunters death....this team with Hal is going to be proactive and seek out the bad guys before they are terrorizing the world...while the other team I believe will be the big 3 with similar supporters (ie Hawkgirl, a GL, Black Lightning, Black Canary...etc.) and they will continue to be reactive to threats.

I think they will be some kind of undergraund/black ops. version of JLA. Like Oans's black ops. Lanterns or X-force but i don't think they will kill their targets like them. Their purpose actually sounds like what (Nightwing's) Outsiders tried to do after OYL. Stop criminals before they start to make an actual damage or something like this. Reminising Nightwing's Outsiders kind of make me miss Checkmate now... (why did you leave the book Rucka why... ) it was special. I hope at least Rucka will write a Great 10 mini some day. August General in Iron, Celestial Archer and Immortal man in Darkness are really good characters.

Uhm, if i go back to subject there's a new JL cover that i find:

it has potential.

Superman and Batman are different characters one is light and the other is dark etc etc yet together they (sometimes...) truly become world's finest (when they have a good writer and penciler. hmm... i want Vertigo Batman) 2 JLA one boyscout and one bad ass can work well too with the same dynamic.

That looks more like a interior page than the cover. Not Dynamic enough plus not many people even know of this Starman very well.
