I know Superman and Lois Lane is the canned answer, but I can't stand Lois Lane...I've always despised the character and never understood what Superman saw in the big mouthed pulitzer prize winning egotist. So...I would say the most iconic characters listed as a couple in this poll would be Superman and Wonder Woman. They haven't been thought of as a couple for a long time, but they're the most iconic duo listed and so, hence the most iconic couple. Aquaman and Mera as runners up...

I think of Superman and Lois as a long time gimmick rather than a couple.
The first couple to turn up the heat in the DCU is Ollie and Diana, Green Arrow and Black Canary. This followed by Aquaman and Mera who feel most destined for each other.

there is probably no fictional couple in existence more "iconic" than Lois & Clark, ask anybody who they are and they know. the same can't be said for the majority of this list, and to call Bruce & Salina a couple is certainly a stretch especially to call them an iconic one.
