I finally decided to pick this up from SS and just got it in. Have a question for those that have it. I have a pretty bad looking "residue" or something on the left leg that I haven't seen on my other pieces. In the cab with lights on it, it looks horrible.. even at a distance.

Is this common for other or do I need to talk to SS about a replacement? I also included a pic of the right leg to show the difference.

Thanks

Hi there,
Hard to see from the picture if it is 'on' the surface of the paint or actually wrong applied paint.

But few months ago I learned a very handy trick, so will happily share

Take a q-tip and dip it in type of vegetable oil, e.g. like sunflower oil or olive oil. This is easy and safe solution for wiping off glue-like residue (vapours/fingerprints and sticker-glue / annoying things like that).

If this does not help, I would ask for replacement bcs it is an ugly stain indeed.

Thanks, might try that. I just didn't want to put anything on it before asking with these using something like an "upgraded decal/sticker".

edit: Got in touch with SS and they are replacing it.

It makes no sense. I guess TF statue fans want 2K giant G1 ish statues. I mean there is a place for that and I like them like the next guy. But this IS Megatron in all his G1 glory. Like what more is PCS supposed to do? Same with Storm Shadow from the GI Joe line. At least TMNT had some staying power... sigh
