Thanks! It really is funny how much tastes differ in the comic art world.
What I can't believe is I got the framing for this at 70% off and it still cost me over 200. I have not had anything framed for a few years but I thought this was just nuts.

As someone who frames things regularly take it from me, the cost is ridiculous. It often runs more than the art itself. All these coupons are just gimmicks IMO. Given that the cost of framing varies greatly from piece to piece who is to say they just don't jack up the cost of labor and materials to compensate for the coupons? We'd never know it if they did. That being said they've kind of got us by the balls because at the end of the day we want to protect our art and hang it up on our walls.
I use Beards framing for my stuff. Expensive? Yes but they do quality work. A full archival setup is going to cost you a lot no matter where you go. Personally I'd avoid Michaels. Not saying they're all bad I've just heard and seen some real horror stories surrounding them and they're usually the ones offering those fake 70% off coupons.

Ok I will do!
I have used a different shop for all my prints and such and for a single matted basic framed piece 17X24 it was only about 80 or so and that is with glass. No glass on my canvas.
