Yeah, TLJ was hideous for many reasons, Hux being neutered is just one of them. He looked genuinely terrifying in a psychotic kind of way at times in TFA. TLJ made him nothing more than the butt of jokes throughout, silly ones also like "your mother" jokes. I think TLJ is beyond saving and should probably be removed from Canon (it's that bad) However, some people are trying their hardest to salvage it. This scene is more acceptable here for example....

Definitely the best in the Disney era and it’s not even close. I’d also go as far as saying it’s the 2nd best SW film all around, right behind Empire.

Ironically, the lack of characters with Force powers made it much more watchable than the Abrams/Johnson nonsense.

I’m still not a fan of the supporting cast in Rogue One but yes, it’s the best Disney Star Wars movie. Mandalorian is still a level above it for me. Mando just got everything right for the most part. Epic main theme, great cast, and the flow and dialogue just feels like old school Star Wars. Love it.
The last 5 minutes of Rogue is so epic. Seen it so many times. Lol

Ya, Rogue One and Solo IMO are both better than the new trilogy. Abrams got it wrong and don’t even get me started on Rian Johnson.

It could have been better, some of the main characters are really wooden (Jyn & Cassian mainly) And the Tarkin/Leia CGI was hideous. But I agree that it is the best Disney SW movie by a mile, although I haven't seen ROS yet. And a very good movie in general.

Tarkin CGI was better than Leia but I wouldn't go as far as hideous. And I'll disagree with the main characters being wooden. I thought they were good.
