Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars Starter Pack Special Edition

With The Force Awakens coming out later this year, I figured that there would be another version of Disney Infinity released that would introduce the SW universe to the game, and there was.

This is my introduction to DI and right up to the last minute, I was gonna get the regular release but then saw that the Special Edition came with the Rise Against the Empire Playset which is what I have been playing, haven't touched Twilight of the Republic yet. RatE Playset is exclusive to SE Starter pack for Playstions until the end of September & Boba Fett until the end of the year

Really liking the game so far, will be interesting how LEGO Dimensions fares agaisnt this.

My Unboxing

My Gameplay

I bought the PS4 collector's edition for my boys and they love it. Looks better than the Marvel one. Anyways, pre-ordered Darth Vader, Hans Solo and Chewy now.

Man.... they got me... I was doing so good staying away from these figures. Even managed to stay away from one of my favorite teams in comics, Guardians of the Galaxy. Then I saw these Star Wars figures in person and I quickly found myself trying to rationalize how it could be fun to play the game with my kids. TRU had a sale and that was it. Walked home with the Boba Fett starter set and every... single... Star Wars character available. These things add up. The total was a little staggering.

I'm waiting for a BOGO sale at TRU, you can usually get the figures for $10 each. I'm also going to wait for a nice price drop on the Boba starter set.

You're a better man than me for waiting.

Wanna know what the best part about this game is? It's actually good! I am really surprised by the depth found in the combat mechanics. I also didn't expect for it to have a solid story campaign.
