Here's my deal on that. Kudos for them telling us UP FRONT about a variant. It looks pretty in that photo with the night lighting and background. But, in the end, he never drew the Little Mermaid with black hair and a purple tail, and it seems quite money grabby to me to create a variant for no apparent reason.
So, I will just be getting the original.

Damn...that variant is nice and I have 3 stores very close by....hopefully they have some good side by side photos to compare...and it isn't over $300US ...damn CDN exchange.
