It would dramatically increase the price and weight (think of the shipping costs) for a negligible increase in "quality".
Ultimately, at this scale, the "realism" in appearance is a result of the paint apps rather than the base material.
Finally, from a design perspective, how would a full metal arm be realised? If it was cast from pot metal, the loss in detailing would be very noticeable. And if the arm was (adequately) constructed from individual components.....well, I said it before, the cost would be prohibitive.
The Hot Toys will likely use a cheap cast metal for the diecasting, and it for sure won't be 100% diecast metal....and you'll pay an arm and a leg for it.
