Weta reduces Superman Returns edtion sizes

For those interested in these, I just got the latest newsletter form Weta and they're reducing the edition sizes on their statues, some by half.

http://www.wetanz.com/collectibles/...e=index&cPath=7

Daily Planet - original edition size 2500, now 1500.

Returning Son - original edtion 1000, now 500.

Fallen Hero - original edition 1500, now 750.

Disaster Averted - original edition 2000, now 1000.

They should've reduced the damn price instead.

I'm sure they realized they won't sell any. Even with the lower edition size they still won't sell out. Really Bad IMHO.

Wrong deduction

I have to agree, I am a big fan, but none of the figures really have all that outstanding of a stance that grabs me and the price is really up there. The Lois/Supe one is decent. The 777 save looks like he is holding a boiling over bowl of Hienz extra hot 777 Metropolis soup.

A similar change of clothes like the Alex Ross figure or good flying stance would be better, I do like the new logo S base.

Question

I still don't like the look of them enough to get any, especially with the high price.

Is there anybody here who will now be getting them due to the lower ES?

Like you were on the fence before, and the lower ES makes them a "must have" item for you now?

Nope I still won't be ordering any. They cost entirely to much to even take a chance on. now if they all were down in the 250 - 500 edition size range... I would be all over them...
