And in the comics I’ve read, he’s still not all that big....... though I will admit I haven’t read all of them.

And I thought it was supposed to be inspired by the animation and not the comic....

Think you are reading things too literally.
English isn't Daniel Bel's first language does it matter if he referred to it as an anime or cartoon?

Same goes for "inspired by the animation vs comic."
Daniel Bel mentioned the comic in his post. He never said I only wanted to stick with the cartoon as my inspiration.

Heh heh. I knew I was on the right track.

I’m assuming like any other artist SS uses he sculpted this using Sideshow’s direction for the character. He probably really doesn’t know the show isn’t an Anime lol and doesn’t know the comics only adapted the cartoon character. And he doesn’t need to know. He finished a job that he either took or was assigned. This isn’t the cartoon version anyway, it’s the version they made up.

Also, Terry is definitely shorter than Bruce and not nearly as jacked but is he really all that slim?

In the cartoon he’s actually pretty brawny and wide bodied for a teenager.
