Harley's Holiday Statue

Hi, originally these was the Harley's Holiday statue, it was about 9.75" high and had the nice base and boxes.

today I saw this version of the statue, it is 12" high and not much of a base, and a lot cheaper.

Are there going to be two versions of this or did they change there mind ?

DC's version captures the likeness of the title card better, and not just because of the suitcases in the background. I also prefer the cuteness of Irene Matar's face sculpt over the mean/angry visage of the Diamond Select design.

I thought they were both from Diamond select, odd how two companies would come out with such similar designs. you're right about her face being a little mean. I do like the DST colors more than DC.

I think the one advantage of the Diamond Select PVC version is how they gave HQ hosiery as shown in the episode title card. Otherwise, the colors are a tad dark. The hat brim is nowhere near as wide as it should be, though that's probably due to fears of the brim drooping over time.

Sorta like this version better. In the first version, HQ's eyes are too wide open. She looks like ToyMan in the animated series.

Also, the Diamond Select release is 12 inches, DC's is 9.

According to Previews World, this is considered part of the Premier Collection of resin statues. I've added it to the General Discussion thread.
