I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

So are they working on a 1:2 statue as well? I haven't been able to confirm this or not. I just keep seeing "1:2" thrown around......but what's going be 1:2?

Chris
I'm shooting for this too. Looks great and the price is right.

I've seen 1:2, talked about, 1:1, Arnold's likeness, all kinds of good stuff. Maybe Paul can chime in.

I'll address the red eyes, all of the other replicas made utilize a bulb lense mounted to the outside of the eye. When I made the masters for HCG, XFX and Sideshow, all the versions have used that same bulb until today. It's not correct, it's not accurate but fifteen years ago it was close enough in my opinion. The lense should be flush with the eyeball itself.

Winston's crew hand ground each lense and they fit into the eyeball. The eye with the iris was about ten times the size and used for close ups.

So on the Genisys eyes you'll notice that the lense is flush to the eyeball. We haven't changed one thing about this Genisys skull. Legacy sent us a complete Endoskeleton and I took molds from that piece and made this replica.

So in this instance, the eyes are 100% accurate to the film in every way, unlike all of the T2 skull replicas I created over the years.

Since we are the only licensee making replicas I can say with confidence that nothing will be overlooked.

1-1 Endoskeleton Bust
1/2 Endoskeleton Bust
1/4 Endoskeleton
1/4 Arnold Battle Damaged
1/18 Spider HK Tank
1/3 Endoskeleton Cinemaquette

Much more to come

84 Arnold, 1/2 busts, 1-1 busts

Stay Tuned!

Awesome news Paul! Thanks for the info on the eyes too. That's great to know.

Any details on the teeth? As it's been mentioned before, the teeth seem to have always been a tricky part to get right on the replicas that have come before.

I already love the new look from what I see in the pics you posted so I think that's a massive improvement already.

I'm just curious about how they are being molded and attached to the skull. One of my biggest complaints about the Sideshow busts has been the way the teeth are all molded as one piece and not separate teeth.

Always made me cringe when I could see the teeth all attached together at the gumline. One of the reasons I never purchased an Endo skull from Sideshow before.

That look just killed the piece for me.

What can I say to a list like that? Even if the movie does suck there is a lot of want right there.

that's a lot of terminator love right there!
PLEASE reconsider the 1:4 Arnold battle damaged though and make it 1:3, the presence and detail would be SO much better

Im so happy I could cry, but please do a T1000. Why no one has visited the T1000 mystifies me. A 1/3 T1000 being blown to bits would be a grail come true.

Pity you don't have the rights to a Tech Noir Arnold another missed opputunity by those companies who waste the licence on second rate releases.

Lets address the Terminator Skull Teeth.

When Stan Winston created the Endoskull the Teeth were molded into the skull, meaning they were cast with the skull and not a separate piece.

SWS then painted the teeth on each casting, this is the way the teeth were created for T1 & T2.

When I created the XFX, HCG, Sideshow skull we removed the teeth from the skull casting. We then got a casting of Arnold's teeth from SWS. We cleaned up the castings and grafted them into the skull replica.

I designed the way the teeth attached to the skull on the gumline using a tray system. Over the years during different productions on the Endoskull, the teeth got worse and worse....

For Genisys, the skull was all digitally printed along with the teeth. The Teeth were made on a tray just the way I did them back in 1999. But the teeth on the Genisys skull are really nice and don't look all fake like later versions of the Endoskull.

I also had Carl Lyon do all of the castings on the 1-1 Skull prototypes. By having Carl create the acrylic teeth castings, we got the correct translucency to the teeth.
